trip on the mersey lass
5 am teusday 24 th picked up by squir gordon and of for a trip on the mersey lass findus booked a few weeks ago just six of us at£ 40.00 each so we could have plenty of room any more than eight on a boat on the mersey and you are knitting allday long thats some powerfull river arived about 6.15 met up with findus and three mates sailed about 7 am nice mild day mainly whiting catching first then the chappie next to me landed a nice cod about four lb i yippee!!!thought yes we are in to the cod but alass no cod for any body then the same lucky so and so another cod about same size me catching whiting the findus got a ray thornie a good size but no more cod we did here from the radio that the jenson that was fishing near us had one three lb cod funny how fishing goese the lad landing the cod was next to me same baites same rigs thats neally two years and no cod never mind a good day had by all bring on the next time i love it how about bridling ton chris!!!!by for now or ttfn jonty ps the dog stayed home

Yip it was a brill day although it was very windy. Shame the cod were not there in numbers or size despite a few being codling caught. Some very good whiting coming out all day long. The rip on the flooding tide was strong with no chance whatsoever of uptiding.
I had a nice welcome to Wirral soil within 5 minutes of leaving the tunnel from the local police. The last thing I wanted to see at 6am was blue lights behind me

Nice report there lads i think a trip from bridlington should be on the cards does anyone

Lets see how many are interested and if theres enough try and book something
after a few days sat in front of the tv indulging in food and drink i think it will
be a welcome break(or a least get away from the nagging)
