First trip

Tuesday I headed off to an eastern solent spot which had been producing before xmas, its not now, 3 hours and 2 rockling both 5 bearded.



Thats was it, and the crabs were a real pain stripping the hooks within 5 minutes.

Thursday evening managed to persuade the wife to go to bingo, so I was down the local seafront by 7pm. Had a real good bite first cast but missed it. Wasn't long though before I had a fish in, a small whiting quickly followed by a Pout





Had a better bite later on a real big slack liner, which again I missed. By 10pm I was home, still a couple of fish for the species list. Off out tonight for a proper session.

not a bad start to the year mate better than a blank.

Davey you are the man, well done for first outing, I'm hoping to get out a lot more this year than last year.
