Don't forget to block off that deck drain exiting on the stern. If you don't, it will be the fastest launch/recovery in history.

Re: MEERKAT ....... the birth!
It'll be a proud day when the Meerkat floats on the water and the engine kicks life into what was a very sorry, knackered old lady. (All you Newbies, have a look at the earliest posts!)
I'll echo Chris's thanks to TC for his words of wisdom and encouragement. It's also reassuring to know the guidance is there to keep us safe. Cheers mate!
It's taken a long time, but she's now got a new lease of life thanks to the hard work of my crew-mates. Biggest thanks to Chris and Jonty for doing all the hard, dirty and painstaking work.
Thanks too to my mate Cloughie (who's really gone through it over the past year, and still has some way to go) for his help doing my bit. It seems a long long time ago we were driving back from Chris's having been fed and tea'd up by Kaz (cheers hun!).
It's gonna be a very emotional day when I'm sat on the Meerkat with 3 really good mates. Catching fish ????? that'll just be a bonus!
I'm keeping an eye on the weather and hoping I can be back mid-week in time for the sea-trial. Weekend though is a cert, providing George can pull a few strings for some force 1 Southerlies and blue skies.
