You should know better than argue with a woman.

They turn grey and wrinkled!!

Re: MEERKAT ....... the birth!
Truth is Tink, there's not a massive amount of work for us to do now.
Chris and Jonty have done the real graft to get her sprayed up......... but the next work (the hull) means she's got to go outside.
Christmas, the snow and a plumetting thermometer have really taken our foot off the pedal.......... but give us a few weeks, 15 degrees C, and the words mackeral and tope, and I can see BIG changes
Maybe we need to set a nerw date for the launch?????

Never plan. Without planning, failure comes as a surprise without the concerns and anxiety leading to it!

Re: MEERKAT ....... the birth!
Seriously guys. Don't set a launch date. The usual result is deep depression if the date is not achieved. Worse still is rushing jobs and taking shortcuts to achieve an announced date. Take the time the job dictates and remind yourself you are gaining enjoyment from renovating her properly. It's a boat. 2 day jobs take a week. Week jobs take months. Live with that scenario, it's going to keep occurring.
It's some months ago when Chris was willing to bet on a June 2009 launch. That was followed with a November 2009 launch announcement!
Welcome to 2010. It's a boating way of life, accept it, don't fight it.
