Comp night
Not a great turn out for the first comp of the year for the island forum, with only four of us turning up.
We were set up and ready for the start at 8pm.
Things were quiet though, Mick was managing to find some small but insize whiting so was slowly building up a weight, the rest of us couldn't even buy a bite.
10pm I reeled in to find this undersize plaice on the end, no good for the comp but a new species all the same.
About 11pm I finally get a good take and landed a Bass just insize.
The comp ended at midnight Mick was 1st and I was 2nd, unfortunately the other 2 blanked.
Mick and I then moved further along and manged to bag a dozen fair sized whiting, we packed up around 2am.
