mudeford this weekend 23/05
Hiya all
Off down to mudeford, Hants area this weekend with my lovely little girl (now 16!!!???? ) and 19 year old boyfriend (HER'S, not mine!!! lol) Grrrr!!!
Dont know much about the fishing but know the area fairly well. Any tips or marks anyone can recommend and what bait. (Also any deep water about, in case I need to throw him in)
Look forward to any tips anyone in that area may have (well out of my East coast comfort zone)
Cheers

sun burn but no fish
Went down to Mudeford on Sun 25/05.
Caught ferry over to Hegnistbury Head and fished near the approach to Christchurch harbour.
Wrong tides, during day, very shallow, no bites lovely sun tan, very busy.
Cos I only visit my daughter every 3 weeks, bit restricted on the when and wheres we can fish,
But next time I go, I'll try and be a bit more organised and try and get some info on marks, baits, techniques, where to stay away from the crowd and wheres and whens from you local guys??
On the plus side, got a nice tan, had a nice barbecue (burgers NOT FISH!! Doh) and didnt throw my daughters boyfriend in (but was close).
Look forward to any advice you lads can give me for the next trip down that way. (Hants, Dorset)
Cheers

I found a cricket bat to be of good use when my daughter was younger
