Hello Michael, and welcome to the site.
Im sure you will(hopefully) get plenty out of it. As you stated in your post your new to sea fishing. Well, this is where the fun starts Very Happy . Firstly I would check out your local tackle shop and get your face known. DONT be worried to ask questions. The owner will understand and I have no doubt he will want you as a customer so SHOULD be more than willing to help and advise you.

The better option is, ask on here. DO NOT be affraid to ask ANY questions you need to know the answers to, rod, reels, line rigs, weights etc etc. We have ALL been where you are at the moment and with a little help and advise you and soon you will become a competent angler. It does not matter haw silly you might think your question is, ASK!!!!!! We will answer.

Good luck mate, and ENJOY it

Ian
