New fisherman (Aberdeenshire, Rosehearty area)
Hi all
As in the title im in the Rosehearty area of Aberdeenshire and have been bought a beach caster as a xmas present and looking for tips
Im almost completly new to fishing, done a wee bit of carp years ago and been down to a local pier in Gardenstown but thats it.
If anyone has any pointers im all ears.

Hello Michael, and to the site.
Im sure you will(hopefully) get plenty out of it. As you stated in your post your new to sea fishing. Well, this is where the fun starts . Firstly I would check out your local tackle shop and get your face known. DONT be worried to ask questions. The owner will understand and I have no doubt he will want you as a customer so SHOULD be more than willing to help and advise you.
The better option is, ask on here. DO NOT be affraid to ask ANY questions you need to know the answers to, rod, reels, line rigs, weights etc etc. We have ALL been where you are at the moment and with a little help and advise you and soon you will become a competent angler. It does not matter haw silly you might think your question is, ASK!!!!!! We will answer.
