Low water last night 02/04/09

Hi,
myself (Buck), Jazzman (Ron) and Darth-cod-head (Tim) had a wander down onto the beach in front of the imperial hotel (Northsore Blackpool) last night at approx 9pm.

We fished the tide out and an hour in. Not much was happening Tim drew 1st blood with a rockling, I had a crab which was later followed by a nice Doggie, and Ron also had a Rockling so we all caught something atleast.

It was a nice clear night with almost no wind and again a trip I really enjoyed.

Ironically its almost on my doorstep yet I have never thought to fish there before at low water I'm happy as its my 1st Doggie this year (caught off the beach). I caught it on squid, as I was having no joy with worms. That said I did miss a couple of bites.
I think we packed up after 11.30pm I think, as the tide had turned quickly and there wasn't much more happening at that point.

We will have to do it again soon!

We fished there till late, however I have been informed its the spot that a body of a man who Fell into the sea was washed up just a few hours later!
