Marine Beach, May 10th Empty Marine Beach, May 10th

Spur of the moment Birdy, Dan, Ali and myself hit Marine beach ( leisure centre, Fleetwood ) it was Flattie bashing time ( sorry Clive no piccys, just use your imagination Very Happy calm down) 8 Flounder / Plaice hybrids were caught, 4 by Dan, 3 by Birdy and 1 by myself, the wind was chilly but dropped to nothing by hightide 2110, the tide was slack but it was a good night and with the exception of Ali we all caught, Birdy got the only taker

Norbreck Castle hotel is 10 min on foot, Anchorshome is 15 min on foot, 5 min in the car, Fleetwood Marine Beach 15-20 min in the car, yup its great living so close so at a whim we can just hit the beach, and if it starts persisting it down we can just go home and return tomorrow without spending a fortune in fuel
