Seaview last night

The night didn't start to good arrived at seaview started to unload my gear to realise I'd forgotten my waterproofs so put it all back in the car and off I went to get them luckily I only live 10 minutes away. Anyway Finally on the beach I set up the beach caster and chucked it out, now time to set up brand new bass rod and fixed spool, set up with rig on but when I put thelead on only 2oz it just starts free spooling and I can't stop it so I try to reel up and nothing the bloody thing is busted so that is going back today . Anyway back to the fishing as the night went on I had a few nibbles but couldnt catch a thing,so moved spot then the heavens opened just to go with my frustrating night so far . So at 11:30 I decided enough was enough time to pack up and get home to the warmth , but to my surprise and delight when I reel in there is my first ever 5 bearded rockling so I did go home happy in the end!! And one added bonus last night I met the legederry post master that is Davey and what a pleasure it was !

Well done mate. You have taken the first step, and you met Davey, cant be bad. Im assuming that suitable advice was given. Every trip out, you'll learn something new. AND.......you never know it all
