Last 2 trips of the year

Friday evening Mick and I headed off to the eastern end of the Island trying to get away from the gale force winds, set up by 8pm, the sea was calm but that wind was still very strong We stayed till 1am, bites were few and far between but I managed 3 school Bass up to 1.5lb and a whiting, Mick a whiting and this bonus flounder at 1lb 14oz.



With bait left over but the wind still a problem I decided to go local Sunday evening, despite unable to tell the difference between bites and the wind shaking the rod tips I still managed to bag 4 school Bass, 3 Pout and a five bearded rockling.
That's my lot for this year, for some reason the wife won't let me go tonight.
