CHART PLOTTER APP FOR ANDRIOD PHONE

Navionics do an App for andriod phones. It works like a chartplooter on mobile phone using the phones buit in GPS.The version they do here has a full set of UK & Holland maps included. It costs under £30.00 I have got the app on my phone and tried it out. Would not say that is would replace a didicated system but is a good back up to your main system.
Also had Tide Current and Wind data included. (No more getting the tide time wrong) I have put it on this section beacuse I think it would be useful for all anglers. It has google maps overlay if you fish from the shore. A good back up for saftey it you bait dig, Record routes and track, and enter waypiont very handy for your marks. Give you current long & lat and being on your phone a big plus if you got into dificulty. Yes it in colour and with chartplotters costing around £500 I think its good value. I have found it handy when in the pub planning our trips. Bought a suction mount for the phone, also connect the phone to a cigarette charger to keep the phone topped up when running it all day on the boat.
