Gynn wall 23/01/12

Arrived dressed for a polar expedition but we were soon getting rid of gloves, hat etc as it turned out to be a really calm mild night, the rough water had completely settled down & there was no moon at all so a really dark night on the wall.

Set up with a pulley pennell & a 2 hook clipped down both with No2 hooks, baited with fresh black & minging refrozen black for the Dabs.

First cast 2 hrs before high water & the 2 hook rod went mad then stopped dead, yippee fish on, reeled in & had to get my mate Ronnie to handball this up the wall.

It had taken the stinking worm on the bottom hook.

Here we go, big baits chucked out but that was it for an hour then a swarm of Dabs arrived & it was non stop for the rest of the session.

Only down side to the night was it looked like someone had emptied a haycart into the sea.

Me & Ronnie had fish all night but 2 lads a couple of rods up never even got a knock, it just shows you.

Went down a treat but Pats moaning now cos of the oil over the cooker, I caught , cleaned & cooked she can do a few pots & wipe the stove.

They're NEVER happy unless they're moaning

well done on catching the cod it seems to of gone quiet now
