Merseyside fishing well. Empty Merseyside fishing well.

I bumped into an old friend of mine whilst shopping today. He's from Hesketh Bank and fishes the Mersey at this time of year. He informs me there are plenty of Codling to about 2lbs being caught from the shore. Best fishing being an hour after high water fishing the tide down for a further 3 hours.
