Re: Holyhead Camping / Fishing Forum Meet 11th 12th & 13 June 2010
Here's the details for the campsite we stayed on with the other forum i take it thats the one you mean Frank
http://ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1908
Its only cheap with basic facilities but thats enough for what you want i think i payed around £15 for me and
my son for 2 nights.
The tackle shop who's bait is great is 5 mins away http://www.winniesworms.co.uk/ and the guy who owns the place i think
is called mark won the holyhead open last year so knows the area well
hope this helps a bit
Cheers Dave

Re: Holyhead Camping / Fishing Forum Meet 11th 12th & 13 June 2010
I was talking to a guy @ Colwyn Bay and he told me of some good marks near Holyhead they were rock marks so we will need some floats ( Davey has put a good float rig on his post ive been using that same rig for years ) also the mackeral are in so some feathers may also be needed....Frank

Hi guys can't make the trip myself but if you get the chance to pop along to treaddur bay which is not far from holyhead there is some great rock fishing marks! I've had some smashing wrasse pollock and mackerel on float here and i believe there is always a chance of bass Mike
