Coarse Fishing, Llysworney, South Wales
Along with my fishing buddy "Mush" (who is a walking disabled guy) we tried out Hazel Court Ponds at Llysworney near Cowbridge in South Wales. My first time there and it's only 8 miles away from me
Unfortunately the weather gods didn't shine on us that day and we didn't catch any fish, but hey just being at the bankside is what matters and counts most, right?
Although they don't have any purpose built swims for wheelchair users, the ground is fairly hard in most places and fairly even and pretty easy to manage, and they do have a disabled loo which is locked (not Radar) and to which they gave me the key for the time that I was there, pretty cool I thought!
They have lots of lakes which are well stocked with bream, tench, golden tench, rudd, roach and every carp species you could imagine, and a catfish lake which has a record of 69 lbs!!!
Friendly and helpful staff, and other fisherpersons, made the day very enjoyable, and I intend to go back and try a 24 hour session as soon as my body decides that I'm up to it
Their website can be found at: Hazel Court Ponds
Check it out!! Prices are very reasonable compared to many other fisheries, and night fishing is allowed on all lakes by booking....you can even book the catfish lake just for you or you and your mates for 24 hours!!
Tight lines!!

Sounds like a really good set up they have and the facilities seem spot on, for the course fishers out there it seem to be a good day out, not for me tho i prefer the larger wet stuff. but very good report none the less
