Great Report Ryan and lovely photos too...
Well my I say a big thank you to all that turned up ... the weather got the better of us it was a shame because it looked so promising the weed also didnt help we brought tonnes of it in on Monday night when we fished the harbour... the wind never let up all week it seemed to be blowing right down onto the tent even a windbreak had no effect.

Ryan, Paul & Mark with our new sign I dont know where Gail had got to

A lovey sunset down at the harbour.

No one warned us of what was to come later that night .... gale force winds from the north right onto us I was lucky I slept through it but woke up next morning to find one half of the tent right over the other side 3 of the pegs from that side had been ripped and bent out of the ground ... Gail & Marks tent had suffered that night and they had to go home later that day ... the day after we noticed just how many tents had been thrown away, the skips were full of them.

Tuesday Night found us on the south beach a lovely sandy flat beach with a lovely surf coming in still had a bit of weed problem but Ryan managed this small Plaice

Although everything about this camp site was good a great camp I think the weather got the better of us the wind was relentless and after a while it takes it out of you ... well home now and dreaming of the next one.

Hi all, so sorry that I couldn't make it but I've been suffering with severe blisters on my hands and a broken front castor on my wheelchair, the after effects of fishing at Elphick's in Kent (see report under Disabled Fishing).
Looks like the weather God's were against you all but sounds like you had some fun anyways.
Doesn't look very wheelchair friendly (but probably better than Elphick's lol) so will await reports from Gail and co to see whether worth my while making the next meet up.
Tight lines,
Andy Smile
