Back for the Bass
Friday was a long time coming, I was itching to get back down after the previous weekends success.
Arrived at 4.30pm dug some lugworm and already had rag. The normal 2 hook flappers would be used.
I was set up by dusk an was hopefull of another good session.
Darkness arrived but unfortunately the Bass didn't.
8pm and I get my 1st bite, a little rattle so I strike and in comes a Flounder around the pound mark.
Carried
on till high water at 10pm but still nothing, so packed up and went
back to E-Cowes in search of a bite, normally there's plenty of small
stuff but by midnight I'd not even had a nibble. So called it a night.
Nice night to be out though and blank saved.
