What are the best places to fish from the beach in winter time? I want to start as to this day I only was fishing from a boat.

Depends where you are for information on particular marks in your area, but look for wormbeds and any that are in gullys are a good casting area as the fish come to the beaches for the worms (or other local feed such as Mussel beds) and try to use whatever the beds produce, worm, Mussels, cockles, Sandeel etc as bait as that is what the fish are coming in to those areas for.

Simple advice is always the best, contact the tackle shops in the Lowerstoft area and explain your situation to them. They will want you as a permenant customer so they should give you good advice. welcome

Just a thought, if you can get in touch with Buck2003 on this site Im sure he fishes around that area. I dont think he uses this site too often nowadays BUT failing that PM me and Ill give you his phone number Very Happy
